Together We Can Change The World

Kenneth Muramira

World Shine Foundation School opened in March 2005 with an intake of 126 pupils. Since then the school role has risen to over 600. Our vision is to create a Christian school to equip students with knowledge and skills to serve and shine for Christ in leading and influencing the nation. In order to achieve these goals we hope to be a school which; puts the Christian faith at the heart of all that we do, recruits, develops and retains excellent staff, has high expectations of everyone in our school community, creates strong links between home and school and nurtures our students academically, socially, culturally, spiritually and physically. Many of these are orphans or children of single parent families. The school seeks to provide a holistic Christian education to a high standard in an area where good schools are lacking.

World Shine Foundation Primary School is our raising center that was created to support the needy children in the area and to raise Godly men and women to lead Uganda and influence the nations for Christ. The World Shine Foundation Primary School in Rwentobo, Uganda is a Christian primary school in a poor, rural area in Western Uganda. WSM Raises disciples through Christian education while also addressing physical needs. WSM is improving the school through building more and better facilities and providing curriculum and supplies. WSM is expanding the school upwards to secondary and vocational (Institution) levels slowly and intentionally. WSFS is equipped with a well-trained teaching, support and non-teaching staff that are raising Godly men and women to lead Uganda and influence the nation. The school is located in a majority Muslim area where traditionally not many girls are sent to school. The local community has demonstrated strong support for the school. Knowledge and Skills to shine for Christ is our motto.
