Our Core Values

In the light of God’s mandate, our mission, and our vision, World Shine Ministries seeks to operate with eyes fixed on CHILUM

Our Statement of Faith

1.

We believe in one God, eternally existent and co-equal in three persons of the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same substance, equal in power and glory, working all things after the counsel of His will.

(Isaiah 40:28;  Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 1:11;  Acts 15:14; John 17:6,18;  Ephesians 4:12; 1 Corinthians 5:10;  Romans 12:2;         2 Corinthians 4:7).
2.

We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary without sin, and is true God and is true Man.

Matthew 1:18-23.
3.

We believe the Bible (comprising the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments) is the fully inspired, canonical Word of God, without error, and are the final authority for faith and life. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women. For God’s revelation in Christ and in Scripture is unchangeable. Through it the Holy Spirit still speaks today.

(2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12; John 10:35; Isaiah 55:11;
1 Corinthians 1:21; Romans 1:16, Matthew 5:17,18; Jude 3;
Ephesians 1:17,18; Ephesians3:10,18)
4.

We believe we were created in the image of God, in knowledge, righteousness and holiness; that we have sinned, incurring both physical and spiritual death; and that all human beings are born in sin and that this sinful nature is the origin of all sinful acts in thought, word, and deed.

(Genesis 1:26,  Romans 5:12, Isaiah 59:2,  Romans 6:23,  Romans 3:23.)
5.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and He died as the atoning sacrifice for our sins the just for the unjust, according to the Scriptures, and that all who believe in Him are justified by grace and faith through His shed blood.

(Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 3:18.)
6.

We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit, becoming children of God.

(John 1:12, Galatians 3:26, John 3:16.)
7.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit in illuminating, regenerating, indwelling, and sanctifying the Christian. He is the one who inspired the prophets and apostles to write the Scriptures.

(Romans 8:14-16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 16:13; 2 Thessalonians 2:13.)
8.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, His ascension to the right of the Father, His present work as High Priest and advocate, and His personal return in power and glory.

(Daniel 12:2-3; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 4:14-16; John 11:24; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.)
9.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life, and the lost to everlasting shame, everlasting contempt,  everlasting punishment.

(Acts 24:15; Revelation 20:15; Romans 6:23; 1 Corinthians 15:20-24.)
10.
We believe The Church is the instrument ordained by God to bring the message of the Gospel to a lost and condemned human race and to carry out His purposes in the world. The mission of the Church is, therefore, the preaching of the Gospel and the discipling of all nations, this mission being accompanied by “doing good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15.
11.

We believe in the sacredness, sanctity and permanency of marriage between a male and female and in the egalitarian relationship between a husband and wife equally created, blessed and equal to serve. We also believe in procreation and upbringing of children. We believe in the protection of children, born and unborn as the gifts from the Lord.

(Psalms 127:3-5)

I personally acknowledge any sinfulness; have recognized my need of salvation through Christ’s blood and atoning sacrifice on the cross; have by faith accepted Christ as my Savior and Lord; and have confessed Him before God and man as my Savior and Lord. I acknowledge, therefore, that I am no longer my own; I have been bought with a price and the life I now live in the flesh is not my own but it is Christ who lives in me (Galatians 2:20-21).
